The flaw
What matters is who clicked, whether they understood what they agreed to, and in what order the parties committed.
W3Sign
Transaction-Integrity Infrastructure
W3Sign is the authentication layer for high-value transactions. Other platforms ask you to trust them. W3Sign makes the proof independent.
The shift
AI has changed the risk profile for documents and identities. A convincing fake can be created quickly, while many signing systems still focus on whether a link was clicked rather than whether the transaction can be proven.
What matters is who clicked, whether they understood what they agreed to, and in what order the parties committed.
High-value deals fail after the handshake when a party disputes the version, authority, timing or evidence.
Trade needs protocols, not closed platforms. W3Sign creates proof that can be checked outside the signing platform.
The turn
A third party can verify signatures, documents and evidence without needing an account, app, membership or vendor-controlled database.
How it works
The signer, the document, the order of commitment and the independent proof trail are connected into one verifiable evidence package.
Cryptographic unequivocal proof of who signed what and when, not merely whoever holds the link.
The signature is tied to the verified person and the exact record.
Each party can prove the other knew what was being signed.
Who committed, and when, is captured as a sequence of evidence.
The proof can be checked without relying on W3Sign as the only source of truth.

When a document, video, audio file or image is signed, W3Sign enables independent verification of signing and document authentication from outside the W3Sign network.
The signed file is stored through the W3Sign IPFS gateway.
The IPFS CID becomes the durable content address for retrieval.
CID, hash, SignatureBucket, SignatureKey and event time are recorded as proof.
The proof path
The proof link returns the signing event. The event points to the file, the hash, the publisher and the exact record key.
The legal strength
W3Sign creates a tamper-evident evidence trail for the document lifecycle: identity, document hash, IPFS preservation, timestamping and exportable proof.
Hash and CID identify the exact file that was signed.
Identity verification binds the event to the verified person or publisher.
Timestamping records the sequence of events.
Independent validation confirms the file and record still match.
The oracle use case
A recognised source can publish signed data, documents or status updates into its own SignatureBucket. W3Sign proves who published it, when, and whether it changed.
The frame
When a bank receives a SWIFT message, it acts on it as fact because the authentication is the trust. W3Sign is that layer for signed transactions.

Prove the document. Prove the signer. Prove the time. Prove nothing changed.
